The Power of Movement
Apr 29, 2026
Movement. An act of changing physical location. A change or development. A group of people moving together toward a shared idea.
“Nothing happens until something moves.” Albert Einstein
I’ve come to understand that movement is a core value for me. Naming it feels like one of those moments when you realize you’ve always known something, but now you finally know it.
Another invisible energy. Today I’m seeing it in the wind - the way this unseen force moves tiny leaves and sways strong trees. I’m feeling it in the way it adds energy to your soul.
It has become one of my daily pillars. Morning stretches. Daily walks. Exercise. But it goes far beyond the physical. Movement is learning that turns into doing. It’s stepping away from bias so you can see the beauty in others and in the world. It creates energy.
When I look back, movement has shaped some of the most important moments of my life.
Keeping emotions in check - ever been so angry you climbed a few flights of stairs and felt better at the top?
Preparing for a hard conversation - pacing the room to get your intentions straight?
The way a simple walk with a friend opens the door to a deeper conversation?
What happens in a tough meeting when you stand up, walk around the table, and sit beside someone instead of across from them?
The strength that returns after an injury - and the pride that comes with it?
Feeling stuck - and realizing all you needed was to change your environment, even if it was just walking down the hall?
Movement creates momentum. Energy.
Movement creates clarity. Vision.
Movement creates change. Progress.
One step. One shift. One choice at a time.
I am thankful for movement in my life and my leadership.
There’s good ahead when you move - for you and for the people around you. Your steps matter. Let’s take the next one together.
Will you join me in my Movement movement?
What’s one idea you can share to get things “moving” today?
