Show up in Small Ways
Mar 31, 2026
I am a planning specialist. I dream, map and color‑code the calendar… forgetting that none of it matters if my daily habits don’t reflect the person I want to be.
This devotion called me out today.
The truth is, life isn’t about the big moments.
Life is in the tiny, unglamorous choices I make today.
How I choose to encourage to people.
How I show up.
How I treat myself.
How I practice compassion and kindness when it would be easier not to.
And honestly, we need more of that today — more gentleness, more patience, more choosing to see the human in front of us. Those small acts aren’t just “nice.” They’re essential. They shape the future long before the big plans ever do.
So yes, plan the big things.
But don’t overlook the quiet, consistent actions that create a life worth living.
If I want to be a better me, I need to show up in the small ways today.
My commitment? To practice the habit of asking questions before I jump to conclusions.
What habit can you restart today?
